Taryn & Jon

Taryn and Jon tied the knot on the most beautiful spring day this past April. The wedding was perfectly designed and executed by one of my favorite planner teams in Indianapolis, Boldly Chic Events, and was photographed by the talented Jessica Strickland Photography. From the first consultation I had with Taryn, she told me how much she cares about details, and that she has a passion for wedding stationery. As a wedding stationer, I was thrilled! No project is more exciting than when a client shares your passion and understands the value of custom designs!

Taryn and Jon’s color scheme was very romantic, and one that I haven’t seen used much before, but I have since fallen absolutely in love with! There were lots of dusty blues, soft lilacs, greenery and pops of pink – it was simply beautiful. Every detail that was included, from the flowers, to the table numbers, to the custom macarons, helped create the perfect atmosphere for a whimsical, upscale, French country inspired celebration!

The Paper Details

We incorporated so many special details within this custom invitations suite, and I still can’t get over how beautiful it turned out. The paper chosen was a delicate cotton, it has a luxurious feel and is always a favorite among my couples. The edges of the main invitation were meticulously deckled, which added a nice texture to the suite and helped that piece stand out the most. The main invitation was also stamped with silver foil, and the other pieces were flat printed so that we could use lots of color within the floral pattern and custom map. The entire invitation suite was tied together with lilac Swiss velvet ribbon, and sealed with a silver wax seal that had a garden rose design. The envelope itself was a shimmery grey and had a custom floral liner. They were mailed with vintage stamps from Verde Studio, and calligraphy done by Megan from Esther Letters. All the elements create a truly stunning custom invitation suite, and it definitely set the tone for all the guests that received them.
